I’m excited to share this broccoli and cheddar soup mix recipe, it's super easy and tasty.
With our house project and it being fall, soup season has arrived. But wouldn’t you agree when you don’t have time to cook that finding some quick support is a good thing?
I found this product line when working at The Foodie. Since then, they have increased their inventory and for my readers far away I found some other places where you can shop.
I’ll share those options towards the end of this post.
Let’s begin with this Broccoli and Cheddar mix, it’s one to try and would be perfect to have available as we move into what appears to be colder temperatures.
Y’all winter is not my friend and I find it takes more energy to warm up than it does to cool off.
Recipe Ingredients
Frontier Soup Mix, Broccoli Cheddar and everything you will need
is listed on the back label. These additions include, chicken
or vegetable broth, cream, cheddar cheese and more broccoli if preferred.
I did something a little different and used, half and half, feta cheese, and a cup of chopped bok choy.
Think an herbal feta would have been even better.
Putting Everything Together
For this mix I used my Instant Pot because I was in a hurry to eat. Normal cook time is between 35 and 45 minutes and I was able to speed things up by 15 minutes give or take. You could also cook slow using a crock pot if desired. Preparation is really easy, for me I just added everything at once, stirred and let the instant pot do the rest.
As promised, here are the links where you can find a variety of these soup mixes in person or online.
You will have leftovers so can you guess what I’m having for
lunch today?
