Easy to Make Iced White Chocolate Coffee

Make your own white Chocolate Mocha for a fraction of the price and it tastes better.

Iced coffee is a favorite afternoon treat when our weather warms up.  For years, I would buy them on a whim until I noticed the quality was decreasing.

They either put too much ice or way too much syrup and that is when I decided to forget it, I can do better by making my own iced coffee at home.

Do not get me wrong occasionally I have a couple places I visit but by the time I place my order and make sure they don't overdo the syrup it’s just easier to wait until I get home.

Not to mention the money we save because the price of an iced mocha or latte is no longer five bucks.  Call me cheap, but if you are going to raise the price, please don’t deplete the quality at the same time.

Making Your White Chocolate Mocha

What I love about using white chocolate is that you don’t have that sickening over the top sweetness that comes from traditional syrups.

To prepare out white chocolate, we begin with a blender like my handy magic bullet.  I love this gadget; you simply add he morsels and blend until they look like powder.  You are only going to use about 1 or 2 teaspoons so all the extra can be placed into a clear jar for later.

Prepare two shots of espresso using your favorite coffee beans; a fresh grind is always best.  Then to bring this amazing, iced coffee together first, add powdered white chocolate to the bottom of the glass.

I use about 1.5 teaspoons, then pour in espresso shots and stir until the chocolate is melted.  Add three ice cubes and stir in your milk.  Finish by adding another ice cube and enjoy!

This recipe is so easy and can be enjoyed with steamed milk if you prefer warm coffee. If you don’t like white chocolate change it up and use dark chocolate morsels.

The point is you can enjoy a wonderful, iced coffee right at home for a fraction of what you would pay at the coffee shop.  The best part is you can make it to your liking using quality ingredients.

Be the Good,
