Surrounded By Tree Wisdom

In the early hours of each day encouragement is everywhere.

The mornings around here begin early, about an hour before sunrise.  I start with a fresh brew for an awakening to occur in time for a quiet read.

From there preparations are made to go outside just as the sun is beginning to rise.  I am greeted with the comfort of cooler temperatures and the wisdom that surrounds my soul beneath the trees.

It is a breathtaking sight that never tires regardless of the season.

Through the trees there is a light that feels strong and genuine.  This light is followed by the sound of a natural orchestra that penetrates through the air and moves at every glimpse.

This is life surrounded by trees, where wisdom runs deep.

Breaking down the goodness in tree wisdom

These trees are resilient, reminding me to slow down, have patience and seek God's wisdom instead of relying on my own understanding.

They have been here long before our arrival and by observing their growth it's obvious they have survived storms and the clutter of darkness.

These markings remind me of a journey, one that doesn't move from place to place but chooses to grow right where they are.

From the layers of bark and the wild life they attract, each day is filled with light.  This kind of environment offers time to rest, grow and shine.

Trees are a reminder to stay grounded in our core values, to embrace the quiet in the season and find eternal joy in every step.

So what does that mean?
    • Don't get caught up in the frantic happenings of this earthly world.
    • Don't allow yourself to be led astray by evil.
    • Step away from the merry go round and give yourself time to rest.
    • Allow yourself to grow and shine with humility.
    • Live with a loving heart.
    • Live for the kingdom in every season.
Do this by reading God's word daily, even if it's just for 15 minutes.  If this is a new idea, start in the New Testament in the book of Matthew.

In time, you will move from believing to seeing but more important you will feel his grace within his creations.  A light so comforting you will join that natural orchestra by living the life God always intended you to have.

Encouraging Goodness,
