Layers of Fun

 

When a soft shift penetrates through the air it almost feels like a blanket to our senses where unexpected color warms the heart.  

We are in the season of Fall and my "Fun in the Sun" rose is blooming.  She prefers the cooler temperatures because every stem is flourishing.  

I can relate because now that summer is over my energy has increased and I just want to have fun.

Layers of fun where everyday I notice goodness and learn something new.  

That feeling of fresh, sweet and spice like the scent of these roses is hope.  Every space seems to open and flutter about with layers of grace.

Nature can provide us with grace through the natural beauty we all desire even if we don't realize it.

Go outside and find that one thing that makes you want to enjoy the goodness that is right in front of you.  It's there, believe me, but you have to choose to see it.

You have to choose to be part of it and let it shine.  When you shine within, the bounce back can be even greater for someone else.

I experienced this the other day in the grocery store when the cashier offered me the most sincere compliment.  

I don't know how to accept praise, so quite often I respond with the wrong words.  Which happened this time and she graciously began explaining her words.  

I felt like such a fool, but then a spark within told me to stop her by "offering a thank you" for sharing her positive self.

She was the only person in the store not complaining and she shined so bright, but because I was existing from lack of sleep I almost missed her kind words.

I am here to say, don't miss the goodness! That simple encounter changed the rest of my day, similar to how these roses improve my senses every time I see them bloom.  

You can have layers of fun in this life if you make the decision to have fun in the simple things.
