Sounds of Christmas Music

Three playlists perfect for the christmas season to listen at home or in the car.

Growing up music was always present in my home, I’m not sure if that was because we were part Italian or if it just made life feel a little brighter.

It doesn’t really matter why because it made a huge impact in my life and from as early as I can remember music has always been present.  From one song to another and from one season to the next there is always a music list or a certain artist or song that speaks to my heart.

More like several songs because there is not a day that goes by where music isn’t playing front and center or in the background.

Music can make an empty home happy; it can make a large gathering less tense; it can be the light of one’s day and Christmas is no exception.

I grew up listening to the Christmas classics and when we raised our family we continued with those classics and added in modern artists, instrumental and some country ones that kept the holiday vibe alive.

Now that life is quieter, I can’t imagine this season without music playing in the background.  It reminds me of so many good times.

Especially now with our house project, there will be no decorating this year so it’s the music or a stroll through town that makes me feel like we’re in the season of pure light.

So, I thought it would be fun to share a few playlists that I enjoy and perhaps you will too.  The Christmas season just wouldn’t be the same without good music playing.

Take note I love the oldies

Burl Ives, just not Christmas until you hear the simple joy of his sound.

David Lanz, y'all he is my favorite pianist a God given talent take a listen.

I live in the south and country music will always be playing at some point.  This mix is a good one and covers the season perfectly.  I'm pretty sure at least one of these playlists will fill your home with a little bit more joy this Christmas season.
