Homestead Blend Fettuccine with Spinach & Mushrooms

Make an excellent pasta dish in one pot in minutes and serve.

I refer to this dish as my one pot pasta that I make at home in minutes.  The trick is simple, there is no sauce which makes this Homestead Blend Fettuccine a breeze to serve. We place everything on one plate using clean ingredients and there is no skimping.

This amazing recipe will make you feel like you are eating in a great Italian restaurant. It's food like this that keep my family asking for more and they all prefer "mom's Italian cooking" over restaurants.

It's a huge compliment and I owe this gift to my grandmother who taught me how to use just a few ingredients to make fantastic food at home. So, let's dive right in but first you will need to make my homestead blend spice and that recipe can be found here.

Ingredient List

Use your favorite fettuccine, I always select gluten free made from corn and rice.  I prefer this because it easier to digest and doesn't make me sleepy.  For additional protein, this dish would also be fantastic with grilled shrimp on skewers and I plan to recreate it later with scallops.

Also, there are no real measurements. I've mentioned why in previous recipes but mainly because I love intense flavor and a lot of people do not.  So, adjust to your liking as this can be made for one or serval individuals.

My ingredient list will reflect one/two servings.

I have linked a great olive oil here.  You could even use a really good virgin olive oil; it doesn't have to be infused.
    • Your favorite fettuccine
    • Handful of mushrooms sliced.
    • Handful of fresh spinach chopped.
    • 1 Tbsp. Homestead Blend Spice (I use a little more)
    • Infused Italian Herb olive oil or try this one.
    • Fresh parmesan cheese

The steps to make this quick and easy pasta dish.

Prepare and Cook

Now it's time to prepare and cook this amazing dish. Doesn't it look good? I might be serving this again later this week.

First off, we need to boil our fettuccine.  Stir as needed and while this is cooking get your spinach and mushrooms prepped on the cutting board.  Basically, it's wash and chop.

When the noodles are finished cooking, normally this takes between 10 and 15 minutes drain the water from the pot.  Now add your raw spinach and mushrooms to the noodles in that same "hot pot" and drizzle in a small amount of olive oil, stir everything and cover.

Let that sit covered for about 4 or 5 minutes and get your dinner plates ready because we are going to put this meal together in the blink of an eye.

The best pasta dish for a quick meal that tastes like you ate in a restaurant.

 Serve and Enjoy

At this point these flavors are going to start making your mouth water and you will be anxious to taste this awesome homestead blend goodness.

On your dinner plate serve a gracious amount of pasta with the mushrooms and spinach.  You will notice these vegetables will be warm but still have that natural glow so the flavor will be fantastic.

Now sprinkle your homestead blend spice mix evenly over the top and drizzle everything with the infused olive oil.  I do this maybe 4 or 5 times sometimes 6 and finish with a sprinkle of parmesan.  That's all you do and now you are ready to enjoy your Homestead Blend Fettuccine with Spinach and Mushrooms.

See the Good,
Carole
