Kramer and I recently went on a drive going west. I have not been out this way in a while and
noticed some colorful signs on our journey. They
sparked my interest because they said, Jefferson Makers Market.
At the time I was on a schedule but thought on my way back I could pop in and see what it was all about.
On my return I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through the door.
Inside The Jefferson Makers Market
Inside I was greeted with a friendly welcome from Michelle. After viewing just a few spaces, I found myself in the mix of like-minded
individuals. It was clear this was not a
coincidence of any kind and asked if they had available space.
They did have space; it took me about another week to make it back. Paperwork was filled out in minutes, and we picked out a spot to display my watercolors and books.
I left thinking okay, I made the commitment now make it happen.
Making it Happen
Over the weekend it happened, I created this display with the hope others will like what they see.This step was the encouragement I needed to continue moving forward towards additional opportunities that have been presented.
I must admit it has been difficult because I lacked confidence; a lot of self-doubt was keeping me from taking action. So, I took the advice I give to others, and it made all the difference.
This year my goals have been centered on moving forward and this was another great step that feels good. Better yet, it feels right.
Taking a Trip to Jefferson Texas
If you might be taking a trip to the beautiful historic town
of Jefferson, Texas perhaps you will consider visiting this market before approaching downtown.
They are easy to find by turning off 59 onto 49 at the 4-way
intersection. This is a wonderful marketplace for locals and visitors, and they still have space for new vendors for anyone interested.
People sharing their God given talent, that is a wonderful thing. Believe me when I say, you will appreciate these artistic creations at the Jefferson Makers Market.
