The Rhythm to Bloom Through Your Gifts

A motivational series to finding your gift.

In the first segment of this series, we talked about finding your gift.  I am guessing you carefully unwrapped the package and have embraced your talent.

Maybe you already started to put this new gift into action, but you found a bit of confusion with what to do with it.

This is common because “new” offers a purpose to seek a rhythm to bloom.

The ideal situation is to create a positive outlook from the beginning. Winging it or copying others will only distract from finding your rhythm.

So, what does that look like?

This will be different for everyone because remember we categorized our gifts into three areas and many of you might fall into more than one.
    • Artistic
    • Management
    • Entrepreneur

You may need to go back and revisit finding your gift here.  If you have it figured out, then you are ready to move on with finding your rhythm.

A look into knowing your gift and how to find your rhythm.

Finding your Rhythm

A living rhythm is much like a tempo in everyday life.  I quickly think of the seasons because they offer a natural rhythmic effect.

In the autumn there is change in temperature, color and the falling of leaves.  Foods we gravitate towards even change and the preparation for warmer clothing takes place.

This movement carries a certain tempo, for some it could be excitement, for others it could be like the beat of a drum.

Rhythm can have a positive or negative impact depending on your outlook, but you can decide the outcome by just applying a positive attitude.

If the tempo is strong one day and weak the next, go with it because there will be days when a consistent pattern will help you focus and gain momentum.

All of this is part of the process and sometimes to reach this kind of rhythm, a change in routine might be required and where you spend time might even need improving.

Think of finding your rhythm like planting a seed.  They are tiny when you place them in the ground.  Left alone, they may struggle but with a little attention, over time something magnificent will appear.

Do not be in a hurry to find your rhythm, let it flow with you like one season to another.  This process will naturally bring you to nurturing your rhythm to bloom.

Nurturing Your Rhythm to Bloom

To Bloom with your gift, you must understand the importance of nurturing your rhythm.  This is you taking on the action of caring for something.

Think about that seed we planted to find rhythm.  For months you watered, removed the weeds, mulched the ground and continued to water in the blazing heat.

You danced when it rained and then finally one brisk morning a beautiful bloom appeared.

A steady tempo was developed so that seed could germinate, grow and bloom.

With a glow of freshness your gift can also shine with that same kind of rhythm.  This means you might need to treat yourself better before you can bloom.

A gift is only as good as the heart of the person with a steady rhythm.  One that is nurtured and can travel through any tempo.

When you shine through your gifts your rhythm to bloom will flow naturally.

Be the good,
Carole West
